HORIZON CITY, Texas -- Emergency crews were out in Horizon City battling a blaze.The fire happened in the desert near Las Colonias Road and S. Ascencion Street in Horizon City.Dispatch told KFOX tires were on fire.Individuals in the area said they saw thick black smoke.Horizon City Fire Department and El Paso County Sheriff’s Department were on the scene.
