EL PASO, Texas -- The El Paso Sheriff's Office arrested nine people Saturday morning during a "Operation Early Bird."All nine people have outstanding criminal warrants.Alexandro Soto, 18, Abelardo Holguin, 55, Ernesto Rendon, 21, and Anthony Provencio, 18 , were all arrested on assault charges, police said.Deputies arrested Oswaldo Alvarez, 19 , on a charge of burglary of vehicle.Leroy Anaya, 22, was arrested on suspicion of possessing of marijuana, while Victor Nares, 37 was charged with possession of cocaine.Jacinto Ontiveros, 42 was arrested on a theft charge and Briza Delgado, 30, was charged with criminal mischief.
