FABENS, Texas -- Border Patrol agents in Fabens, Texas, arrested a man on Monday who they said had nearly 200 pounds of marijuana in his vehicle on Interstate 10 west, near the Fabens exit. Agents from Fort Hancock, Texas, told agents in Fabens they found footprints crossing the river from Mexico and described a suspicious vehicle.A K-9 unit and agents found 198 pounds of marijuana valued at $158,500, agents said. The driver, a U.S. citizen, was arrested. Officials said a criminal history check revealed the suspect had two prior convictions for narcotics and an active warrant out of New Mexico for failure to appear.
