DONA ANA COUNTY, N.M. -- Skeletal remains were found near a drainage canal near the "Corn Maze" area Friday afternoon.Dona Ana County Sheriff’s Office investigators are at the scene of what they say appears to be confirmed skeletal remains of a human being.Earlier Friday, an Elephant Butte Irrigation District worker discovered the skeletal remains while driving along a drainage canal.The remains were found near what is commonly referred to as the "Corn Maze" located in the 3800 block of Picacho.The investigation is ongoing.
