Secretary Of Labor Visiting El Paso

EL PASO, Texas -- Another member of President Barack Obama's cabinet prepares for a visit to the borderland.

Rep. Silvestre Reyes said U.S. Labor Secretary Hilda Solis will visit El Paso later this month.

Reyes described Solis as a "champion for middle class families and workers rights."

She is the first Hispanic Secretary of Labor.

Her visit comes after trips to the borderland by house majority leader Steny Hoyer, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, and Border Czar Alan Bersin, among others.
