YAZOO CITY, Miss. -- A surveillance camera mounted inside a Yazoo County school bus recorded video of a 14-year-old girl threatening students with a gun, police said Wednesday.Yazoo County Sheriff Thomas Vaughan said the girl brought the gun, which was loaded with five bullets, from home. Vaughan said the girl brought the gun onto the school bus because she was upset that someone had been picking on her, Jackson television station WAPT reported. The video showed the bus driver pulling the bus over and calling the girl to the front to ask her what was going on. The 14-year-old started cursing, pointed the gun at students and walked toward them."You better shut up," the girl is heard telling the students.Several young children were sitting in the front of the bus and another group of children was sitting in the back of the bus. Many of the students started to run out of the bus, which is when Yazoo County High School football player Kaleb Eulls stepped into action, police said."Put the gun down," Eulls is heard screaming on the surveillance video.Eulls is shown on the video tackling and then wrestling the gun away from the girl. No one was injured."I just took the situation in hand and did what I had to do," Eulls said.Eulls said he's getting used to being called a hero. He said he was sleeping on the bus listening to music when the commotion began."I was just trying to get her away from the kids, because she was pointing the gun at them," he said. "I was just trying to distract her and get all of her attention on me and distract her as I got everyone off the bus."He said he is looking forward to finishing his senior year and starting his college football career at Mississippi State University in the fall. The 14-year-old girl is charged with 22 counts of attempted aggravated assault, 22 counts of kidnapping and one count of felony possession of a firearm on a school bus, Vaughan said. She was being held at the Yazoo County Youth Detention Center on Wednesday. It has not yet been determined whether the girl will be tried as an adult, officials said.
