EL PASO, Texas -- The number of robberies in East El Paso are growing and police said at least two could be related.

As KFOX reported on the KFOX Morning News, the latest target in the string of robberies was the Little Caesars on Lee Trevino Drive near Montwood Drive. Police believe two of the robberies are related and they believe the robber will strike again.

"They went up to her first, pointing the gun at her and asking her to open the cash register," said Little Caesars manager Luis Torres.

Police are looking for a Hispanic man wearing a blue bandana who allegedly attempted to rob the Little Ceasars and robbed the Circle K on McRea Boulevard on Monday.

"Similarities in the subject description, in particular he had a blue bandana over his face. The subject displayed a similar weapon on both cases," said Sgt. Warren Olsen with the El Paso Police Department.

Crimes Against Person detectives are investigating these two robberies in East El Paso. They're collecting evidence and looking at video but they say there's a good chance the subject may hit again.

"He's hit twice in one day and got away with it. The chances of him hitting again are good at this point. We're asking for the public to be vigilant for any suspicious activity," said Olsen.

Police officers are also looking for a suspect vehicle that looks like a dark green vehicle that could be Pontiac Grand Am or a Chevy Camaro. Meanwhile, employees at the Little Ceasars try to get over a traumatic experience.

"It was so quick. It took seconds for them to ask and when I peeked out and when they pointed the gun at me, it was just a matter of seconds," said Torres.

Information about the suspect and the suspect vehicle was passed along to patrol units. They'll be on the look out as they patrol the streets.
