The city of El Paso is reminding the public that the disposal of common household products is considered hazardous to the environment.Items like paint, motor and cooking oil, all-purpose cleaners and disinfectants are a hazard to public health and the environment.The city says similar items like these should be stored away from children, pets and appliance pilots to prevent poisonings and fires.There are four Citizens Collection Stations around the city to drop off any of these materials.They are located at 4501 Hondo Pass Drive, 2492 Harrison Avenue, 121 Atlantic Road, 9000 Escobar Drive and 4200 Delta Drive.For more information call 915-621-6700.
