SANTE FE, N.M. -- There's a warning before you pick up the phone in New Mexico.New Mexico's Human Services Department is warning citizens about fraudulent phone calls regarding child support payments. The department said one person complained after a woman called him and said she was with customer service and asked for his Social Security number.Department Secretary Pamela Hyde said the division does not request such information from customers over the phone.The department has filed a report with state police and also with the attorney general's Consumer Fraud Division.
