Deputies blocked several streets in Montana Vista as investigators looked into a call about a home burglary at the 15100 block of Snohomish Loop. When they arrived, they talked to the victim."She was in bed and she had a toddler with her. She was home alone when she was woken up by intruders who went into her residence through a window," said sheriff's spokesman Jesse Tovar. The woman and her child were not hurt. Tovar said he couldn't confirm the number of intruders but said item were taken from the home. He said sheriff's investigators have three active crime scenes.Investigators tracked tire and foot impression they found at the woman's property. They arrived at the scene at around 9 a.m. moments after the 911 call came in. But they believe the incident happened between 3 and 5 in the morning. It wasn't until a few hours late that the woman managed to set herself free to call for help. She's working with investigators to identify the burglars."There's reason to believe that the individuals maybe people that live in the area. We can't confirm that but we're looking at all these neighboring homes," said Tovar.Tovar said the woman's husband wasn't home at the time because they were involved in an argument the night before. He said the husband is cooperating with sheriffs.
