EL PASO, Texas -- El Paso police confirmed Monday night that a body found in the Santa Teresa desert is that of missing El Paso real estate agent Gloria Marmolejo."At this point we are treating it as a homicide," said Officer Chris Mears, with El Paso police.Marmolejo, 54, had been missing since last Saturday. Her truck was later located at an elementary school near her home.El Paso police said it took time to identify Marmolejo because the body was in bad condition. The identification was made through fingerprints, Mears said.Angela Noaks knew Marmolejo when Marmolejo was working at the Texas Workforce Commission."She was the last person on earth to deserve that. You know, she was an angelic type person, she didn't deserve that at all," Noaks said. "She was very caring, very caring, and she cared about a lot of people."El Paso police said that despite being identified, Marmolejo's body would undergo an autopsy Tuesday.
