New Mexico State Police said two people were killed in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 25 just north of Las Cruces.A spokesman with New Mexico State Police said the call went out just before 5 a.m. Saturday.He said the driver, Ramona Alejandre, 31, of Snyder, Texas, was driving south on I-25 at mile post 12, when she drove off the left side of the roadway and overcorrected, hitting a guardrail. The Ford F-250 then rolled and came to a rest on its wheels.She and passenger Angelica Alejandre, 6, both died from the injuries they suffered in the crash.According to the spokesman, both were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash.It is unclear if they died at the scene or at a local hospital.
