Where To Watch Fireworks, Celebrate Fourth Of July

The Borderland celebrates the Fourth of July with fireworks. Check out where you can celebrate this weekend.
7/4 Eighth Annual Downtown Street Fest
Downtown El Paso
Music, fireworks, food, games and cars
Friday, July 3 - Saturday, July 4
6 p.m. - 1 a.m.
$15 adults, $5 children 12 and under,
Gate admission $25
Advance tickets on sale at 7-11/Fina stores in El Paso
and Pic Quik/Fina stores in Las Cruces

7/4 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular Concert:
The El Paso Symphony Orchestra will perform from 7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Fireworks finale at 9:15 p.m.
Chamizal National Memorial, 800 S. San Marcial.
7/4 Check out the fireworks display from Cohen Stadium
Cohen Satdium at 4 p.m. Saturday at Old Glory Memorial, Diana and Highway 54 North.
Fun for the family; bring your chairs. $1 for hot dogs, sodas, water, popcorn and snack cakes; $3 per vehicle parking; must have car insurance.

7/4 Barbecue and Dance
American Legion Post 36 at 3:30 p.m. at 3730 Shell.
All active-duty military, veterans and their families are invited to celebrate the Fourth of July. A dance will follow the free barbecue.
7/4 Western Playland
1249 Futurity in Sunland Park (across the street from Sunland Park Racetrack & Casino).
Admission: $15.95 for riders; $20.95, plus tax, for non-riders (with ride tickets costing $2); free for seniors and children younger than 3.
Ride the roller coaster, planes, trains and automobiles from 3 p.m. - 10 p.m. with a fireworks show around 9 p.m.
7/3 - 7/4 Las Cruces
Hadley Complex, 1605 E. Hadley
Friday Wells Fargo Electric Light Parade at 9 p.m. and Tribute Rockers Journey Unauthorized at 10 p.m.
Saturday Creedence Clearwater Revisited at 8 p.m. and fireworks around 10 p.m. Saturday

7/4 Parades Around Town
East El Paso Parade starts at Hanks High School at 9 a.m.
West El Paso Parade starts at Thunderbird at the Western Hills United Methodist Church at 9 a.m.
Anthony, Texas Parade starts at Main and Franklin Street at 10 a.m.
