Ft. Bliss Soldier Who Allegedly Assaulted Girlfriend Arrested

EL PASO, Texas -- The Fort Bliss soldier who's girlfriend accused him of assaulting her was arrested.

KFOX has learned 22-year-old Richard Samaniego was booked in the El Paso County Jail on a $30,000 bail.

Samaniego's girlfriend accused him of beating her with a wooden stick, then running her over with an SUV in Las Cruces.
