Man Stabbed In South Central El Paso

A man is recovering from his injuries after he was stabbed Wednesday night.

Police tell KFOX two men living on the 5900 block of Simpia Drive in south central El Paso got into argument which escalated into a fight.

One of the men stabbed the other in the wrist and stomach with a knife, and then fled on foot. The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect was later caught a few blocks away from the scene.

It’s unknown if any charges will be filed.
