A driver ran a red light Thursday morning, causing a T-bone crash in east El Paso.Police are trying to determine who’s at fault for the crash, which forced officers to block off Gateway West at Sumac for several hours as they diagrammed the scene.Police say a 56-year-old woman driving a 1991 Toyota Corolla who they said may have been intoxicated was headed down Gateway West as a 35-year-old man driving a black Cavalier was headed north on Sumac Drive. Officers said one of them ran the red light causing the crash.A 76-year-old passenger in the woman’s car suffered a broken leg. The woman suffered serious injuries.The driver from the Cavalier suffered minor injuries.They were all taken to Thomason Hospital.
