Starting Wednesday, there's a new program to help make repaying student loans a little easier.

It's called income-based repayment and anyone with a federal student loan can apply.

Eligibility is determined by income and loan size.

It works by capping monthly payments based on how much you make.

It also forgives the amount you owe after 25 years, and if you work in public service, it forgives loans after just 10 years.
