Sex Offender Charged With 5 Sex Crimes

DONA ANA COUNTY, N.M. -- Dona Ana County sheriff's investigators arrested a registered sex offender.

Joseph Marcotte, 48, was charged with five crimes, including criminal sexual contact with a minor, criminal sexual penetration, and selling or giving alcohol to a minor.

The charges involve a 14-year-old boy who claimed he worked for Marcotte who allegedly assaulted him and gave him alcohol, said officials.

The sheriff's department is also questioning another minor who may have worked for Marcotte.
