FORT BLISS, Texas -- A Ft. Bliss soldier serving in Iraq died from wounds he suffered from an explosion.The Department of Defense announced Friday that 25-year-old Sgt. Joshua W. Soto, of San Angelo, Texas, died on June 16.Soto was in Iraq and died of wounds suffered when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle.He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 77th Armor Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division based in Fort Bliss Texas.
