Ft. Bliss Soldier Dies In Morning Collision

A 21-year-old Ft. Bliss soldier died after a head-on collision at Walter Jones Boulevard and Global Reach Boulevard, said police.

El Paso police said three cars were involved in the accident Friday at 7:45 a.m.

An officer at the scene confirmed one person died.

Dispatchers told KFOX the Jaws of Life were used in the accident. Fort Bliss military police officers were at the scene.

The name of the soldier has not been released at this time.
