Homeland Security Grants Approved For El Paso

EL PASO, Texas -- The El Paso area is set to receive approximately $1.4 million in Homeland Security grants.Rep. Silvestre Reyes announced the grants Thursday.The grants are part of the Department of Homeland Security's Operation Stonegarden program.The program aims to improve coordination between federal, state (no comma) and local law enforcement agencies in border security operations.
