Recovering Cancer Patients Can Get Fit For Free

Women recovering from breast cancer are getting fit for free thanks to El Paso Women's Fitness.

The supervised fitness program offers individualized exercise plans for each participant who agree to the two-days-a-week routine.

Each cancer survivor in the program is within one year of their diagnosis.

"I think it's a great benefit for breast cancer survivors. This is a program that offers a fabulous trainer - Tarah Sanchez our trainer, a beautiful facility, and it's a wonderful opportunity for breast cancer survivors to promote good health. Statistics show one in three women will get breast cancer...in the future we need to be exercising more as a preventative measure."

The 10-week session runs every Tuesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m., click here for more information.
