Man Killed By Tractor

TORNILLO, Texas -- A Tornillo man is dead after an accident involving a tractor.

Sheriff’s deputies said just before 2:30 p.m. Friday they were called out to the 400 block of OT Smith in Tornillo.

They said a 55-year-old Hispanic man was picking up caliche with a tractor, when the right side of the tractor curved and caused the tractor to roll over on the man.

No other details were released, and the incident is still being investigated by sheriff's deputies.
