KFOX learns one of the victims who died in last night's head-on collision near the Anthony gap was the mother of four children.

"This morning, my mother called me to let me know that Ryan's mom had passed away last night," said Sandy Morales, a friend of Ramos.

On Wednesday evening, Priscilla Ramos, 35, and the driver, Ramon Gonzales, 22, were killed in a head-on collision. New Mexico State Police officials said Gonzales lost control of the car, when one of his tires blew out and crashed head on with another vehicle on N.M. Highway 404. They were not wearing seatbelts and both died at the scene. Ramos leaves four children motherless.

"She would support Ryan. She would support him in baseball. He would do something wrong, she would tell him, 'Come on Ryan. Come on babe. Try harder,'" said Morales.

Morales' son used to play with Priscilla's son and she says she'll always remember the support and commitment she gave to the teams.

"I don't know how to react. I don't know what to say. I still remember her being there to herself, taking care of her daughter, being in the bleachers, supporting the team, supporting her son," said Morales.

There were three occupants in the other car involved. They were taken to the Thomason and released a short time later.

Ramos' son's team, Strike Force, is trying to come up with ideas to help the family with funeral arrangements. They may even have to cancel a tournament in Ruidoso this weekend to do it.
