NMSU Appoints Interim President

New Mexico State University has a new leader for the time being.

The NMSU board of regents Tuesday approved a contract with Manuel T. Pacheco to serve as interim President of the university starting June 1.

Pacheco has an extensive background in higher education, including serving as president for the four-campus University of Missouri System and the University of Arizona.
