EL PASO, Texas -- A glowing object seen in the northern sky Sunday night was a balloon, according to officials at White Sands Missile Range.Officials confirm to KFOX that the balloon was carrying a gamma ray telescope from the Columbia Scientific Balloon Center in Palestine, Tex. and was on a proper course.The object sparked dozens of phone calls to the KFOX breaking news line.
