Swine Flu Confirmed Cases Go Up in Dona Ana County

EL PASO, Texas -- The New Mexico Department of Health confirmed 22 new cases of H1N1 flu on Friday afternoon, including a new case in Dona Ana County. That brings the total to Dona Ana County to three confirmed cases.The NMDH said the age of the victims range from infant to 57 years old. The county breakdown for cases is as follows:Doña Ana (3, Bernalillo (3), Eddy (6), Hidalgo (10), Luna (3), Sandoval (1), Sierra (1), Socorro (5) and Valencia (1). The illness has been mild in New Mexico, and most people have recovered from H1N1.As of Friday, there were 1,639 confirmed cases in 42 states in the U.S. and two deaths in Texas.
