El Paso County Sheriff’s Deputies found a stolen silver Ford F-150 in a desert area near Mercantile Avenue and Pine Springs Drive.

According to police the truck was stuck and abandoned.

Investigators from the El Paso Police Department Auto Task Force responded to assist in the investigation.

Investigators found the truck was reported stolen Friday morning from the 9200 block of Betel Drive.

The investigation is ongoing and police have not made any arrests.
