Bullets Fly In Berino Saturday

A man suffered a gunshot wound in Berino, N.M., and was brought to El Paso for treatment.

Dona Ana County Sheriff's Deputies told KFOX that Cesar Parga, 18, was standing outside of his home on the 600 block of Thompson Road when shots rang out.

Parga was hit once in the upper torso and taken to Thomason Hospital in critical but stable condition.

Deputies said they believed the incident was gang-related. An investigation is under way.
