Mountain Biker Goes Missing In Desert

EL PASO, Texas -- The Combined Search and Rescue Teams, along with park rangers have rescued a missing mountain biker who was found in the desert Sunday afternoon.Family members of the 46-year-old man called authorities at about 3 p.m. when their loved one didn't return. The man had gone riding at 11 p.m.Rescue teams found him more than a mile away from Redd Road and Helen of Troy Drive off of a mountain trail in the desert. Officials said the man was conscious when they found him. He had fallen and injured his shoulder and knee.Officials said the man was wearing a helmet, but was riding alone and did not have a cell phone.
