Richardson Names New Members To NMSU Board Of Regents

New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson named three new members to the New Mexico State University's Board of Regents.

Thomas Salopek, Javier Gonzales and Christopher Anaya will begin their duties Jan.1.

Salopek is a pecan farmer from the Las Cruces area.

Gonzales is a former Santa Fe county commissioner who has been chairman of the New Mexico highlands board of regents.

Anaya, who will be the new student regent, is a sophomore at the university.
