Late-Night Stabbing At Downtown Bar Injures 2

Two men are recovering and police are launching a full investigation into a fight that resulted in a stabbing Friday night.

Officers said a fight erupted at 1914 Lounge in the Union Plaza District of downtown El Paso.

A short time later, the fight moved to the parking garage on Durango where the 28-year-old man was stabbed in the back and another 23-year-old was hit in the face with a bottle.

Both men were taken to Thomason Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation continues.
