Ft. Bliss Tries To Reduce Soliders In Crashes

Fort Bliss is taking action to reduce the number of traffic accidents involving soldiers.

Leaders from the 6th Air Defense Artillery conducted a safety review today.

They visited six sites throughout the city where soldiers have lost their lives in traffic accidents.

Major Robert Buniskis of the 6th Air Defense said, “Its absolutely horrible simple things you know speeding, not putting on a seat belt, drinking and driving. Soldiers fight everyday and they work everyday in tough situations and to loose their life because of something like this is just horrible."

Some of the factors they looked at were age, speed, and time of day the accident occurred.
