Gas Prices Fall 25 Cents In A Week

Posted: 3:03 am MDT October 21, 2008

Gas prices in El Paso are at their lowest since February.

KFOX found gas stations selling gas for as low as $2.78, a far cry from the pricy gas residents have been paying.

The drop in prices is attributed to the fall of oil prices and the decrease in demand.

Gas prices in El Paso have dropped 25 cents in the last week and 65 cents on the month.

While it may be good news to most some people say they are suspicious about the drop.

“It’s a ploy in my opinion. You know they will do this to sway the vote. Even though it is a better drop from recent times, it could still be lower,” Christopher Aguilar told KFOX.

Gas prices have also fallen below the $3 mark in Las Cruces as well.
