12-Year-Old Montana Vista Boy Dies From Gunshot To Head

EL PASO, Texas -- Brandon Lee Garcia, 12, died from a gunshot wound to his head Wednesday afternoon.

El Paso County sheriffs and EMS crews found Garcia around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday on the 3500 block of Whitetail Deer Street in Montana Vista. He was found lying on a bedroom floor with a gunshot wound to his head.

Garcia was taken to Thomason Hospital, where he died at 3:10 p.m.

Deputies said the shooting is stil under investigation.
