EL PASO, Texas -- Gateway Closures:

The left lane on Gateway West, between the present I-10 Entrance Ramp (ramp passing Loop 375-Joe Overpass) to Don Haskins Dr., will close starting at 9 a.m. on Friday, September 10 and continue closed through December 2008.

REMINDER: There is a speed reduction on the frontage road from 55 mph to 45 mph during construction.

The westbound right shoulder remains closed from the I-10 Entrance Ramp to the Zaragoza Exit Ramp.

The closures are necessary for construction of a new westbound entrance ramp and auxiliary lane. The project consists of the relocation of an existing entrance ramp. This will ease the weaving problem when one exits southbound from Loop 375-Joe Battle to I-10 westbound.
