Man Allegedly Threatens Crowd With Gun

Joshua Manino, 23, was arrested late Thursday night after pointing a gun at a group of people in east El Paso.

It started at about 11 p.m. at the La Estancia Apartments in the 7900 block of Viscount Boulevard.

According to police, a few men were having a gathering at an apartment when an argument erupted.

Police told KFOX during the argument Manino left the apartment then came back with a gun.

Police said he allegedly cocked the gun ejected some rounds and pointed the weapon at a group of four people. The man threatened the group, but did not shoot the gun. He was arrested at the scene. Alexander Hutchinson lives in the complex. He said he heard everything.

"I heard a lot of ruckus and I heard a clicking noise, like a weapon. Then I heard a clicking noise after that. I was terrified because this is not a bad neighborhood, so I was worried. I came outside to see what was going on, but I could not see anything.“

Police arrested Manino and said he faces four counts of aggravated assault.
