Woman Stabbed 11 Times By Husband

FABENS, Texas -- A family dispute leaves one woman in a hospital fighting for her life (no comma) Sunday. Sheriffs deputies said the incident happened Saturday on the 700 block of Avo in Fabens.

Investigators said they believe 41-year-old Pedro Yebra stabbed his wife, Norma Yebra, 11 times, including in parts of her chest and face.

She was taken to Thomason Hospital in critical condition.

After an extensive search, deputies arrested Pedro Yebra in Fabens.

He is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
