USPS Prepares For Election Ballots

The United States Postal Service expects to mail out 31 million ballots this election season.

The post office wants to remind the public to make sure their ballots arrive in time. It recommends mail in your ballot five days before Election Day but for those in the military, stationed overseas, the postal service recommends those ballots be mailed out at least two weeks before and even earlier before Sept. 30th for those stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Service members can mail their ballots free by taking them to APO FPO Post offices.
