EL PASO, Texas -- Thousands of El Pasoans and the UTEP football team are getting pumped up for Saturday’s big game, but before they do, UTEP officials want to make sure you know the rules."I’m going to tailgate with some of my friends and family, and sorority sisters, Sigma Si Eta," said west El Paso resident Cristina Martinez.Tailgating outside of campus is allowed at 8 a.m., with the inner campus open at noon and with thousands of fans expected to tailgate Saturday, they're encouraged to review the tailgating rules."I know there's a few rules as far as before the game and after the game, during the game," said east El Paso resident Mark Gamboa. What exactly are some of those rules? Kegs, alcoholic drinking games and funneling will not be allowed. Police will be on the lookout for underage drinkers and those not following UTEP’s policies.“We wanna make sure that we have mobility and access to the venue as well as the campus, so you'll see all kinds of vehicles out there, bicycles t3's, motor vehicles, personnel on foot as well," said UTEP Police chief Cliff Walsh.Like last year, all tailgate parties must be shut down by the end of the first quarter and after the game fans are allowed to tailgate for an hour.As far as parking goes..."If you don't have a season ticket and a placard then I suggest looking at our parking map," said Carol Roberts –Spence director for UTEP special events. Here on the map the areas highlighted in blue are reserved parking spaces in the north and southside of the Sun Bowl. These areas in orange are general parking in the southside, which is available on campus on a first come basis.UTEP coach Mike Price wants to see all of the fans showing Miner fever, which means fans only wear orange."Some of our buddies and I are probably going to paint our bodies.. so go Miners," said east El Paso resident Tommy Leon.
