Many Busted By Sheriff's During Holiday Weekend

Labor Day weekend celebrations did not end well for a number of people who were arrested by the El Paso County Sheriff's impaired driving units.

Eleven arrests were made for those driving while intoxicated.

Those charged could face fines up to $2,000, jail time, driver's license suspensions and a $1,000 fee for three consecutive years to keep their licenses.

During their patrols, Deputies also made one felony arrest, executed five warrants, handed out 27 hazardous driving citations and 53 non-hazardous citations.

Seven vehicles were also impounded.
