EL PASO, Texas -- Hundreds packed the Durham Center on the UTEP campus Thursday for free food and plenty of football. The Durham Center had all the makings of a UTEP home game, with the band, the cheerleaders, and the food hot and ready for UTEP students. But the game was on TV, as the Miners were on the road against the Buffalo Bulls."I've been here since like 12, so I waited like four and a half, but it was worth it. As soon we got in, we got the food, we got the chips," said Julian Murillo, a UTEP senior."Usually they don't have a big turnout, and that this is one of their bigger turnouts, and I guess they are doing a really good job of promoting school spirit," said Brian Treftz, a UTEP freshman.Everyone KFOX spoke to had a prediction for the game, and the season."There going to kill, they are going to kill Buffalo, the rest of the season, they keep at it, there is no stopping it," said Murillo."I think they are going to do really good this season, they might lose a couple of games, but I think they will hang in there," said Melissa Herrera, a UTEP senior."Ah, UTEP is taking it. UTEP is taking it. And then UT, we're taking it too. And the season, we're taking it," said Treftz.
