DEMING, N.M. -- Five people, including a 78-year-old man, are in custody after a drug bust in Deming.

Border patrol agents stopped an SUV early Thursday morning in front of a motel.

In the back, they found three people and 145 pounds of marijuana.

In the motel, agents found Dorman Dean Coleman, 78, and Guadalupe Martinez-Olivas, 42, both of whom have lengthy criminal records.

Coleman was taken to a hospital after complaining of dizziness.

He will later be turned over to the Department Enforcement Administration.
