Boy Rememered At Vigil

Friends and family gathered at Saint Pius church Thursday nigh to remember 11-year-old Rico Banuelas.

As we told you last night on KFOX news at nine, Banuelas was shot and killed during a robbery in Mazatlan, Mexico.

Those in attendance said Banuelas loved sports, especially football, calling him a typical kid who looked up to everyone.

His brother told KFOX that about the last time he spoke to Rico.

"He asked me if he could borrow some of my clothes so he could dress like me, so that he could get all the girls when he got to the beach, I told him yeah, I let him take some of my stuff," Said Eddie Banuelas

The family plans on holding a rosary Sunday at Saint Pius church.
