An early-morning fire Thursday in Las Cruces is being investigated as a possible arson and break in by authorities.

Fire marshalls were dispatched to the Smith Company construction yard, located on 720 Vado Drive after it was reported that a vehicle was fully engulfed in flames.

Sheriff's deputies were called in after there appeared to be a forced entry into the mobile home office in the construction yard.

Two vehicles that were in the yard were damaged in the fire and no injuries were reported.
