Fire Consumes 400 Acres Of Organ Mountains

LAS CRUCES, N.M. -- A fire burned 400 acres of the Organ Mountains near Dripping Springs Saturday night.

Officials from the Bureau of Land Management tell KFOX the fire is growing.

The fire is a major challenge for firefighters because they have to carry the water up to the fire.

No word on any evacuations, injuries or damage estimates.
