EL PASO, Texas -- Emergency dispatchers got several calls about gunshots in a northeast El Paso neighborhood at about 9:45 p.m. Wednesday. Several neighbors reported hearing four to six gunshots.

Police repeatedly tried to making contact with the people inside a home on the 3500 block of Atlas Avenue. Officers had their guns drawn.

After 45 minutes, officers called off the standoff because they could not prove a crime had been committed.
