Police: Las Cruces Man Involved In Sexual Relationship With Minor

LAS CRUCES, N.M. -- Gerald A. "Jerry" Garcia, 35, was arrested Tuesday on 24 charges of criminal sexual penetration of a child.Las Cruces police said Garcia was involved in a sexual relationship with a girl, who is now 13, since she was 10 years old.Garcia was charged with 24 first-degree felony counts of criminal sexual penetration and one count of second-degree criminal sexual penetration.Garcia is being held at the Dona Ana County Detention Center with bond set at $1,225,000.
