According to El Paso police, a domestic dispute at the Arbor Vista Apartments in east El Paso led to what appears to be an accidental shooting. Officers said the single shot was fired inside apartment 451 at about 3:45 a.m. Tuesday.

When officers searched the apartment they found the bullet had gone through the wall and into the neighbor's closet.

Officers collected bullet fragments found inside the neighbor's closet, ironing board and carpet.

Andy Guzman's father was sleeping in the room when the bullet went through the wall.

"I guess it worries me, but there's not much you can do when things like this happen," said Guzman.

Police initially said an argument between the couple turned into a struggle over a handgun, and it led to a shot being fired.

No one was hurt.
