EL PASO, Texas -- Police said a bad decision led to injury and a trip to jail early Tuesday morning.

Authorities said, a man got on his friend's scooter just before 2:15 a.m. Tuesday morning in the parking lot of Uncle Paulie's Pub on Shadow Mountain.

He tried to drive off, officials said, but hit the wall of the bar instead, and then fell off.

Paramedics who responded to the scene treated him for a minor head injury.

Police then arrested him on suspicion of drunken driving.
